ABOUT

REGGIE PONIO,
M.A., BCBA / Owner
Reggie is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst working with neuro-diverse individuals for two decades. Reggie is also a proud husband, father, son and sibling of 5 brothers and sisters. He is a rabid San Antonio Spurs fan and people often ask him if he's from San Antonio... which is not the case. He also used to play drums and can still cut the rug, but will need extensive time to recover the day after.
Meredith Fore, Case Supervisor
Inspired by her training under other dedicated behavior analysts, (namely Reggie!) Meredith is on the path to also becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Meredith has been in the ABA field for nearly 4 years, and one of her passions is teaching individuals the value of having a variety of enjoyable leisure activities. When she's not working or studying, you can catch her heading to the Santa Cruz beaches or working on arts and crafts projects.

Reframing Behavior's Story
Reggie is an immigrant from the Philippines and started his professional career as a direct support staff for adults with intellectual disabilities around 2004. He was tasked with creating a curriculum for teaching life skills which led him to pursue his Masters Degree in Special Education in San Francisco. He started working with children with Autism in 2012 and was privileged to be a part of a cohort of amazing clinicians that helped him hone his desire for providing tangible and important skill outcomes for the consumers and their families. He started his BCBA coursework with Florida Institute of Technology in 2014 and was immediately hooked with the potential for the science of Applied Behavior Analysis to enact meaningful change for people. One idea that resonated was the reason that ABA is so meaningful is that it allows people to be defined not by their inherent conditions but that they were shaped by their learning histories, and that with the careful study of this, practitioners could help enact meaningful change. Reggie is every bit as curious and passionate now as he was then about this desire to learn and work with others to bring about their fullest potential, and sees Reframing Behavior as a vehicle for this change.
